So WordPress 3.1 has just been launched, I was interested in when Buddypress 1.3 is expected and any experiences/thoughts anyone has about the new updates.
I can see the admin bar is already something that currently clash, although I saw some comments on work arounds for that.
Hi guys
I’ve so far styled the home page for my BuddyPress site, but when I go to the Members section, as an example, the menu is sitting below the content, etc.
What page should I check out? index.php, page.php?
I did alter some of the CSS – changing global p tags, HR’s, etc, but I’m not sure how much of an impact this will have.
Any help would be appreciated.
My theme is lying in the WordPress content/wp-themes directory, using it’s own .css file and pages.
I’ve created a BuddyPress site and whenever someone registers their activitation email comes from a generic server email that I’ve never used. I’ve contacted BlueHost and they said this is a WordPress/BuddyPress issue. I’ve created the email specified in the General Settings, I’ve installed both plug-ins that are supposed to fix this, and nothing works. Help? I’m not a programmer and coding isn’t an option for me.
Thanks!
Hi All,
I have been using buddypress for about a week now – I am making a custom child theme to make the site look original, while using a lot of the buddypress/wordpress backend for support.
I am looking for a function or code that will pull a user’s friends, and make a list that they can link to.
I am also using the follower plugin, and I would like to make a list of following/followers too
I’m looking to make a list like this –> http://awesomescreenshot.com/04181qv60
Can someone point me down the right path?

Can a user with moderator privileges at the WordPress level be allowed to moderate all BuddyPress groups? (Not just ones they have been invited to moderate?)
I would like to assign moderators who can moderate all of the groups, users and forums without having to promote them to Admin as they don’t need access to change themes, widgets etc.
After installing the site only shows a blank page with: Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_site_admin() in /home/content/24/7482924/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-links/bp-links-admin.php on line 20.
I cant use wordpress anymore as it shows the same message.
Anyone have some idas about what I should do?
